Tom and Jerry Tales is a modern interpretation of the classic animated duo that ran on CW4Kids from 2006 until 2008, and now the first season is available on DVD.

I love cheap DVDs of classic cartoons, and the Tom and Jerry Greatest Chases releases are great examples. Out now is Vol. 4 which includes 14 classic shorts.

It’s Turkey Day 2009, so why not take a break, put your stretchy pants on, and watch some classic Tom and Jerry?

More Tom and Jerry cartoons on DVD is never a bad thing. Parents today who complain about violence in cartoons apparently didn’t grow up watching stuff like this.

This is probably my favorite DVD I’ve gotten to review yet on Saturday Morning Central. It’s all of the Chuck Jones Tom and Jerry cartoons, on one great two-disc DVD set. They’re a blast, and the set is definitely worth buying.

The DVD review this week is Tom and Jerry’s Greatest Chases, Volume 2. It’s a great DVD to pick up for the price, and has a nice variety of Tom and Jerry shorts.
