I’d never seen Yogi’s First Christmas before (that I can remember), so we popped it in this weekend expecting a relatively short holiday special, but we were surprised to find out that it was feature length. This is the first time it’s been on DVD.

The second edition of the 1970s DVD sets was also released today, and it’s a doozy. Shazzan, Sea Lab 2020, and Yogi’s Gang are just some of the gems on this two-disc set. Read more after the jump!

Today the newest edition of Warner Bros’ Saturday Morning Cartoons: 1960s DVD series was released. It has 34 episodes from a bunch of classic shows packed on to two discs.

Even though I wasn’t born until the 80s, I grew up watching plenty of Saturday Morning Cartoons from the 60s and 70s. In the age of DVD season sets, it’s easy to forget the appeal of sitting down with a bowl of cereal and watching a huge variety of cartoons back-to-back.
